Our family spent the morning of Memorial Day at the D-Day Memorial in Bedford, VA. It was a wonderful way to honor the men and women who gave their lives for our freedom.

Big Wheels Are Back
Today we went to Toys"R"Us to pick-up a surprise for Charlotte. My parents wanted to buy her a new bike and per her request they bought her a Harley Davidson Big Wheel. We asked if she wanted a Dora bike or a pink bike but she just kept saying she wanted a motorcycle bike like her friend Alex. Once I got the bike put together this afternoon she rode all over our cul-de-sac with her buddy Alex, they had a blast. It was hilarious watching her cruise in her new motorcycle while sporting a ballerina costume. She is such a cutie!!!
Emma was practicing her walking while eyeing the motorcycle
she hopes to ride one day!

Melody Makers
Have I mentioned that my girls love music...well they do. We sing just about everywhere we go! So on Tuesdays we spend our mornings at Melody Makers playing instruments and singing songs. It has truly become one of our favorite mornings during the week.

Emma's Easter Pictures
Here are a few pictures I took of Emma in her Easter dress. They have not been edited but I had to give you a sneak peek. Doesn't she just look precious! I am hoping to take some of Charlotte real soon.

Heather's Baseball Shower
Last night my friend Tabitha and I gave my sister a Baseball themed baby shower. My nephew Keegan is due to arrive at the end of April. Our dinner of hamburgers, hot dogs and fries was served on wax paper lined baskets. We drank sodas out of glass jars with paper straws and used turf for placemats. The evening was quite the hit!!!

Baby It's Cold Outside...And Inside
On Sunday we had our first big snow of the year. While Tim was at work on Monday Charlotte and I had a great time playing in the snow. We especially loved sledding down the hill in our neighbor's yard. Emma was not a big fan of being cold so she took a nap during our winter adventure. While we didn't get a ton of snow it was enough to kick our power out for 36 hours. Even with both of our gas fireplaces running I couldn't get the house above 60 degrees. Thankful some sweets friends invited us to stay the night. Our power came back on around 9:00 pm last night and we have never been so grateful for a warm house!
