It's a...

We just found out baby #2 is a girl. Yay for more bows and cute clothes!!!

Down on the Farm

Last weekend our Life Group met at a local farm hosting an open house. They had hay rides, farm demonstrations and all kinds of animals for the kids to touch. It was a lot of fun and a perfect way to spend a beautiful fall day.

Charlotte was excited about the kittens she saw
Also excited about the cows
She didn't hesitate to pet the calf
But she wasn't sure what she thought of his mom
Charlotte shakes the cream to make butter
This looks like a good place to rest after a long day on the farm

Catching Up

I have been away from blogging for way to long and have so much to share. At the end of July we moved into a new house just down the road. We actually switched houses with our land lord. The house is very nice and gives us a lot more room. Which is good since we are expecting baby #2 in February. Charlotte and the new baby will be exactly 2
years apart. We are really excited about this new addition to our family. Charlotte is changing and growing every day. She is talking so much more and has quit the personality. Below are some recent pictures and a few fun facts about Charlotte.
  • She is really likes trucks and babies and points them out everywhere we go.
  • She calls every small fuzzy animal a puppy.
  • She loves to read and play with chalk and bubbles. We will often find her laying in the middle of the driveway waiting for us to trace her with chalk.
  • If you ask her where we are going she always says "pool". This must have been her favorite thing we did over the summer.
  • Every time the phone rings she says "that daddy".
  • She enthusiastically tells people "Hey" everywhere we go.
  • She loves to eat ketchup with everything.
  • She brings us so much joy!!

Chick-fil-A Cow Day

Charlotte and I met some friends at Chick-fil-A for Cow Day. If you dressed like a cow they gave you lunch for FREE!!! Doesn't Charlotte make the cutest cow ever.

Pool Days

This summer we joined a local pool and Charlotte and I are spending a couple hours there every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Charlotte is not quite sure what she thinks about getting in the baby pool by herself but she loves playing with buckets of water on the edge. I am looking forward to making many wonderful memories with her this summer.

A Girl's Best Friend

I left Charlotte int her playroom while I took a shower and when I returned this is what I found. What a cutie!!!

Charlotte was fast asleep on a new stuffed dog named Mozart.

Blue Bird Gap Farm

Tim had a business trip in Chesapeake so Charlotte and I tagged along and spent the weekend with my parent's home in Yorktown, VA. During our visit I was able to see my good friend Rachael and her adorable kids Grace and Luke. We took the kids to Blue Bird Gap Farm. The kids loved seeing the animals and playing on the playground. It was great to spend time with such good friends.
