Off to the the Strawberry Patch We Go!

This Saturday we hopped in the car and drove about 40 minutes to a small strawberry festival in Scottsville. We had a great time wondering through strawberry fields and eating lunch with a country music band in the background.  Charlotte and Tim even went down a large blow up slide (sorry no pictures the camera ran out of battery).  I am still not sure what I am going to do with all the strawberries.  Do you have any favorite Strawberry recipes?

I am looking for the juiciest strawberry I can find.
I think I found it!
Now for the taste test...
Off to pick a few more.

Miscellany Monday

Today I thought I would share a few miscellaneous pictures from the last week.  I hope you enjoy!

Charlotte fell and bumped her lip on the concrete...here she is showing off her boo boo!

Emma is still loving her thumb and could care less about her pacifier.
Beautiful flowers in the neighbor's yard!
Here is our house that God has so graciously blessed us with.
 Emma enjoying her Bumbo.
On any given day you can find Charlotte painting at the kitchen table.

Ahoy! It's a Boy!

Last weekend I helped throw a baby shower for one of my sweet friends here in Roanoke. The theme was Ahoy! It's a Boy! It was a wonderful time of food and fellowship. We are all very anxious for little Andrew's arrival!

Sweet Moments

Even though some days I want to pull my hair I out I love being home with my girls. I can't imagine missing these precious moments!

Charlotte topped off her princess nightgown with pearls, silver anklet, my shoes and of course her paci...what a fashionista.
Eyes for her Daddy!
What a sweet smile!
I was putting away laundry and when I turned around this is what I found. It melted my heart.
Emma loves her bath time.

Easter Weekend

My parents, sister and brother in-law came to visit us over Easter weekend. During their visit we enjoyed a picnic in the park, dyeing eggs, a game of Settlers of Catan, a viewing of The King's Speech (great movie by the way!) and a wonderful Easter lunch that included a few friends from our church life group. Thanks for a great weekend Mom, Dad, Heather and Josh. It was wonderful to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus together!

Charlotte was a big help preparing the yard for our egg hunt.
