Mattson Florida Trip

This week we took a trip to Naples, FL with Tim's family.  The trip started with the girl's first ride on an airplane.  We had a lot of help since Tim's parents and sister were on the flight with us and the girl's did great.  Charlotte got a little scared when we were taking off telling us "I don't like this space ship."  We all had quite a laugh.  Our week was spent swimming in the pool, looking for dolphins off of our back deck and hunting alligators.  It was a great trip!!

A Chilly Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

It was a blistery October day when we headed to Sinkland Farms to find our fall pumpkin.  When I say blistery I don't just mean a little chilly...it was down right cold.  While we hoped to take a hayride out to the pumpkin patch to select our pumpkin our plans changed because of the freezing temperatures.  Instead we took a pony ride and ate lunch in a heated barn while watching a clogging show.  Charlotte loved watching the show and did some dancing of her own.

Apple Barn

While my parents were here for the weekend we made a trip to the Apple Barn with our Life Group.  We had a wonderful time filling bins full of apples and watching the kids run around the orchard. Now the only thing I need to decide is what to make with all these apples.
